My workspace has both a Done status and a Closed status. Done is part of ClickUp’s built-in "Done" category, Closed is part of its built-in "Closed" category. I use both because Done keeps tasks visible for all stakeholders and allows for a manager review step, while Closed hides them and is used for full sign-off.

Done is important in ClickUp’s architecture because it gives teams a flexible “final but still visible” stage. Many teams intentionally keep their last step in Done so work remains visible until a deliberate decision is made to archive. For example, in the case of sub-tasks -- marking a task as "closed" vs "done" obscures what work has been done for the main task.

Most people I know use Done as a part of a team's standard workflow for visible completion / review.

If Pleexy could use the Done status group when a status is present there (vs. Closed), it would better match ClickUp’s architecture (and better fit with how many teams work in practice).
