Hi Jason! Sorry for the late reply, I dropped the ball here!
Could you please give us more information about this one? The just disappeared from your Todoist, as I understand? Are you sure it was Pleexy the responsible for it?
Jason Hardy
Jorge Enrique: I was able to figure it out after the same thing happened in July. It was due to the "Ignore tasks older than" setting on the Source of Tasks configuration. I had it set to 45 days. After changing it to 180, the immediate issue was resolved. However, it seems the "older than" calculation uses the last modified date of the task. This is confusing, because if I have a task with a due date in December, but has not been touched since February - Pleexy will not sync that task. Even worse, it may delete the task if it was originally synced.
I have "fixed" it in ClickUp by creating an automation that will inherently update the last modified date semi-regularly. However, I think the true fix would be to update the logic in the "older than" calculation to also respect the due date of the task.

Jason Hardy: Thanks a lot for your info! The way we have done this is to limit the amount of tasks that you can sync to Todoist, as there's a limit of tasks per project, so it's a way to protect agains this kind of errors.
Also, we base ourselves in the GTD methodology, as well the concept of these task management apps is to organise what you need to do in a short term period. My question for you would be, what is the case where you need to sync a task that is more than 180 days long?
Jason Hardy
Jorge Enrique: I like the GTD methodology, and I understand the limit of tasks per project. I'm nowhere near the 300 because I only use ClickUp to supplement Todoist's limited recurring task due date calculations. For example, Todoist can't have a recurring task due on the first Saturday of every third month.
To answer your question, let's say I create a task in January that isn't due until October. For example, let's say I need to renew my car registration every October. This task never changes, so the last modified date will be old. However, it's clearly still an important task that should sync based on the due date.
Perhaps you could change your "older than" logic to look both at last modified and upcoming due dates - creating more of a sync window than a hard cutoff. I believe that would still respect the GTD methodology.

Jason Hardy: Thanks for your feedback! That makes sense, we will be looking into it, it's something that some other users have asked around. Have a good rest of the week!
Jason Hardy
Jorge Enrique: Appreciate it! If you remember, post here when/if you release the new feature/logic. The ClickUp automation I installed is a bit clunky, so I'd be happy to turn it off.
Jorge Enrique
Jason Hardy: Sure! I will be closing this one, as this is not a bug. I was planning on creating a request for it, but maybe it'd be better if you do, that way you get notifications for it?
Jason Hardy
Jorge Enrique: I created it here:

Jason Hardy: That's perfect! Thanks a lot!
